TEXT ORDER directing Plaintiff to file with the Court its proof of service on Defendants of its motion for default judgment (Dkt. No. #9 ) within SEVEN (7) DAYS of the issuance of this Text Order. See, e.g., Robertson v. Doe, 05-CV-7046, 2008 WL 2519894, at *3 (S.D.N.Y. June 19, 2008) ("[P]ursuant to Rule 55(b)(2), the party seeking default judgment is required to present its application for entry of judgment to the court. Notice of the application must be sent to the defaulting party so that it has an opportunity to show cause why the court should not enter a default judgment.") (emphasis added). In the alternative, if Plaintiff has not served Defendants with its motion for default judgment (Dkt. No. #9 ), Plaintiff must do so and file with the Court its proof of service within FOURTEEN (14) DAYS of the issuance of this Text Order. Defendants will have TWENTY-ONE (21) DAYS from the date of service to respond to Plaintiff's motion for default judgment. SO ORDERED by Chief Judge Glenn T. Suddaby on 6/27/2022. (sal )
