ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE WHY CASE SHOULD NOT BE TRANSFERRED. This lawsuit was filed by Plaintiff David Lettieri (Plaintiff) citizen of Lockport, New York against Defendants Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigations, with addresses in Buffalo, New York. Lockport and Buffalo, New York are located within the geographical boundaries of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York (W.D.N.Y.). It is unclear to the Court why this case was not filed in the W.D.N.Y. Plaintiff is directed to file a response to this order to show cause on or before November 27, 2023, stating whether there are proper grounds for this case to remain in the district court for the Northern District of New York and whether the Court should transfer this case to the W.D.N.Y. pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1404(a).
