February 27, 2017 Opinion or Order Filing 17 MEMORANDUM-DECISION AND ORDER re 8 MOTION for Default Judgment as to Christine LaBarge filed by United States of America: The Court hereby ORDERS that the Plaintiff's motion for entry of default judgment is GRANTED; and the Court furt her ORDERS that damages are awarded in the following amounts: (1) unpaid principal and prejudgment interest for the first cause of action in the amount of $508.12; (2) unpaid principal and prejudgment interest for the second cause of action i n the amount of $6,349.63; (3) post-judgment interest accruing at the statutory rate as discussed above; and the Court further ORDERS that Plaintiff's request for costs in the amount of $25.00 for the statutory fee for service and tra vel is denied; the Court further ORDERS that the Clerk of the Court shall serve a copy of this Memorandum-Decision and Order on all parties in accordance with the Local Rules; and the Court further ORDERS that the Clerk of the Court shall enter judgment in Plaintiff's favor and close this case. July 18, 2016 Opinion or Order Filing 10 MEMORANDUM-DECISION AND ORDER granting in part and denying in part 8 Motion for Default Judgment: The Court hereby ORDERS that Plaintiff's motion for default judgment is GRANTED as to liability and DENIED as to damages; and the Court further ORDERS that Plaintiff shall submit a supplemental memorandum, accompanied by an affidavit and evidence substantiating its claimed damages, as set forth above, within THIRTY (30) DAYS from the date of this Memorandum-Decision and Order; and the Court further ORDERS that if Plaintiff fails to comply with the terms of this Memorandum-Decision and Order within THIRTY (30) DAYS, the Clerk is directed to return this file to the Court which may issue a sua sponte order dismissing this action for failur e to prosecute, failure to comply with this Court's Order, and/or failure to comply with the Federal and Local Rules; and the Court further ORDERS that Plaintiff shall serve a copy of this Memorandum-Decision and Order on Defendant by Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested, and docket the returned receipt within THREE (3) DAYS of its return; and the Court further ORDERS that the Clerk of the Court shall serve a copy of this Memorandum-Decision and Order on Plaintiff in accordance with the Local Rules.
