Epic Games, Inc. v. Foret
Plaintiff Epic Games, Inc. alleged that Defendant Mason Foret infringed on plaintiff's copyrights by injecting unauthorized computer code into plaintiff's Fortnite video game, thereby creating an unauthorized derivative work. Additionally, defendant allegedly posted videos on YouTube which demonstrated the cheats and linked to sites where the cheats could be acquired.
