ORDER - The parties shall immediately begin collecting information needed to provide case-specific initial disclosures under Rule 26 and to respond to case-specific discovery. The parties shall hold a "meet-and-confer" by January 30, 2020 to discuss settlement, discovery, anticipated motions, and the filing of the relevant documents with the Court. Plaintiff's short-form complaint contains counts that are not recognized under North Carolina law' and plaintiff may need to narrow or amend his complaint. Plaintiff shall file any amended complaint by December 31, 2019 and defendants shall answer in accordance with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Finally, beyond the short-form complaint [DE 1] and the District of Arizona's Suggestion of Remand and Transfer Order [DE 3], the docket contains none of the relevant documents from the proceedings in the District of Arizona.
