ORDER signed by JUDGE CATHERINE C. EAGLES on 07/10/2023, No later than July 28, 2023, Homesite SHALL show cause why the exercise of subject matter jurisdiction is appropriate by filing evidence sufficient to support diversity jurisdiction, a brief explaining why evidence already of record is sufficient, or another filing sufficient to prove jurisdiction. If Homesite files a brief and Piedmont Roofing disagrees with any assertion therein, Piedmont Roofing may file a responsive brief within five business days. Briefs shall be no longer than 800 words. In the alternative, the parties may file a stipulation with details of the citizenship of all members of Piedmont Roofing that establishes jurisdiction. Failure to file a stipulation, appropriate evidence, or a brief will result in remand of the case to the state court or other appropriate action without further notice. See 28 U.S.C. 1447(c).
