TEXT ORDER issued by CHIEF DISTRICT JUDGE CATHERINE C. EAGLES on 2/14/24. The plaintiff has sent a paper writing and attachments to the Clerk for filing, but this case has been closed by final judgment entered on February 2, 2024. The paper writing is not in the form of a motion and the only request the plaintiff arguably makes is for a court appointed lawyer. There is no automatic right to appointed counsel in civil cases and the plaintiff has not shown good cause. The motion for counsel is DENIED, the case remains closed, and no further action is needed.
