March 4, 2022 Minutes of proceedings [non-document] On March 4, 2022, the Court conducted a telephonic Status Conference attended by Plaintiff's counsel, Amy Ryder Wentz, and Defendant's counsel, Brian Bardwell. The Court inquired into the nature of Defendant's claims in the parallel state court proceedings and discussed whether the instant federal case is barred by the Anti-Injunction Act. The Court recommended settling the dispute and offered to conduct a mediation via Zoom. If the Court-conducted mediation is unsuccessful, this case will be dismissed and the parties can litigate the enforceability of the arbitration agreement in the state court proceedings.
