| Minutes of proceedings [non-document] before Judge J. Philip Calabrese. The Court held a status conference by Zoom on April 18, 2023. Benjamin P. Pfouts, Patrick J. Brickman, and Patrick J. Perotti appeared for Plaintiff. James P. Smith, Noah G. Lipschultz, and Wesley E. Stockard appeared for Defendants. In light of the pending appeal in Patterson v. UnitedHealthcare Insurance Co., No. 1:21-cv-00470), the Court discussed with counsel how this matter should proceed. All participants agreed that waiting for a ruling from the Sixth Circuit best promotes overall judicial economy.
