| Minutes of proceedings [non-document] before Judge Benita Y. Pearson. Telephonic Status Conference held on 2/7/2023. Present was Attorney Charles L. Payne on behalf of Defendants. The attendance of Attorney Sarah Thomas Kavoor, who represents Plaintiffs, was excused. The Court discussed Defendants' #8 Motion for Leave to Plead with Attorney Payne. As indicated in the Motion for Leave to Plead, this Motion is unopposed by Plaintiffs. The Court confirmed with Attorney Payne that the extension of time requested by Defendants to file their pleadings is for the purpose of allowing Defendants to respond appropriately to Plaintiffs' Complaint and not for the purpose of providing Defendants with more time to take additional actions that are disputed in Plaintiffs' Complaint. The Court will grant the unopposed Motion for Leave to Plead #8 . The Court will also separately issue a Case Management Conference Scheduling Order that will set a date and time, after receipt of Defendant' pleading(s), for a Case Management Conference to take place.
