Order granting plaintiffs' motion to serve the Complaint, Summons, Notice of Suit, and a copy of the Foreign Sovereign Immunity Act via diplomatic service under 28 U.S.C. 1608(a)(4) is granted. (Doc. No. #5 .) Plaintiffs shall forthwith provide the Clerk's office with a copy of this Order, and, for the defendant Islamic Republic of Iran, two sets, one in English and one in Farsi, of the Complaint, Summons, Notice of Suit, and a copy of the FSIA, all in English and in Farsi. The papers shall be sent by the Clerk with a certified check payable to the U.S. Embassy Bern. The Clerk shall notate the docket confirming proof of transmittal of the papers to the U.S. Department of State. The Secretary of State shall then promptly transmit the papers through diplomatic channels to the Defendant and send to the Clerk a certified copy of the diplomatic notes indicating the date on which the papers were transferred or attempted to be transferred and the Clerk shall then enter the diplomatic notes on the docket.
