ORDER - Plaintiff asserts in her complaint that Defendants stole her identity and defamed her, but Plaintiff does not provide any non-conclusory detail supporting those assertions. Although the Court liberally construes Plaintiff's filing, a plaintiff may not simply recite the elements of a cause of action, but must [provide] sufficient allegations of underlying facts to give fair notice and to enable the opposing party to defend itself effectively. Starr v. Baca, 652 F.3d 1202, 1216 (9th Cir. 2011). Plaintiff also does not provide any allegations against the other Defendants. The underlying factual allegations must plausibly suggest an entitlement to relief. Id. (emphasis added). Plaintiff has not plausibly suggested an entitlement to relief here, and therefore the case is dismissed. The Court further finds that any appeal from this Order would be frivolous and thus would not be taken in good faith as that term is used in 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(3). See Coppedge v. United States, 369 U.S. 438, 445 (1962). Accordingly, Plaintiff's in forma pauperis status should be revoked for any appeal that may be taken. Signed on 7/22/2019 by Judge Michael H. Simon.
