ORDER: Petitioner, an inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Sheridan, Oregon, brings this habeas corpus petition pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2241. Petitioner did not submit the required $5.00 filing fee, and an action may proceed without prepayment of the filing fee only upon a proper application to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP). See 28 U.S.C. 1914(a), 1915(a). Accordingly, within 45 days from receipt of this Order, petitioner must either pay the $5.00 filing fee or submit an application to proceed IFP with a certified copy of his inmate trust account to show he cannot afford the filing fee. Petitioner is advised that the failure to pay the fee or submit a completed IFP application will result in dismissal of this action without prejudice. Signed on 8/28/2020 by Judge Michael J. McShane.
