ORDER by Judge Acosta -- The Plaintiffs in this case filed a lawsuit in this court seeking FLSA and related state contract remedies. On October 27, 2021, I conducted a judicial settlement conference in the case. The parties were represented by experienced employment counsel familiar with the FLSA and related state contract caselaw, and all parties and counsel participated meaningfully in the conference. The matter settled at the conference and the parties now have completed the formalizing their agreement. Being fully informed of the facts and the issues in the case, and having extensively discussed those facts and issues with the parties and their lawyers during the settlement conference, I approve the settlement as a fair and reasonable resolution of bona fide disputes between the parties, including disputes related to FLSA claims and defenses.
