August 27, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 3 Scheduling Order - On August 19, 2021, Plaintiff filed a complaint in this matter. Plaintiff did not pay the required filing fee of $402, nor did Plaintiff submit an application to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP). The Court ORDERS Plaintiff to either pay the $402 filing fee or submit an IFP application on or before September 17, 2021. If Plaintiff does not either pay the filing fee or submit an IFP application on or before September 17, 2021, the Court will dismiss this case pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1914 and Local Rule 3-4(a). See 28 U.S.C. 1914 (requiring the payment of a filing fee to commence an action and permitting courts to require prepayment of that fee); Local Rule 3-4(a) (requiring prepayment of the filing fee or filing of an IFP application before a document can be accepted for filing).
