ORDER - This matter comes before the Court on its own initiative for review of the jurisdictional allegations in the Notice of Removal (ECF No. #1 ). The Court has also reviewed the allegations in the complaint (ECF No. 1-3) filed in the Circuit Court for the City of Richmond. Defendant invokes the jurisdiction of the Court based on 28 U.S.C. 1332 and 1441, as alleged in paragraphs 7, 8, and 9 of the Notice of Removal. It is clear that the Notice of Removal does not set forth with specificity the names and citizenship of the members of the unincorporated Plaintiff LLC. Therefore, the pleadings are insufficient to establish subject matter jurisdiction based on diversity. Accordingly, within ten (10) days of the date hereof, the Defendant is DIRECTED to file an Amended Notice of Removal that includes the specific information required for the Court to determine whether subject matter jurisdiction based on diversity of citizenship exists in this matter.
