Mr. Johnson has not filed an amended complaint and this Court has not received any communication from Mr. Johnson. Courts may dismiss an action when a "plaintiff fails... to comply with... a court order to file an amended complaint. Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b); Link v. Wabash R. Co., 370 U.S. 626, 63031 (1962) (recognizing a court's authority to dismiss sua sponte under Rule 41(b)); Yourish v. Cal. Amplifier, 191 F.3d 983, 98688 (9th Cir. 1999) (affirming Rule 41(b) dismissal where plaintiff failed to file amended complaint in time allotted by district court).
