ECF Nos. #7 , #8 . Pursuant to Rule 12(a) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Defendant was required to file a responsive pleading by 11/27/2023. Defendant has failed to file a responsive pleading in a timely manner and no application for a default order or judgment has been received by the Court from Plaintiff. Accordingly, it is ORDERED that by 1/17/2024, Plaintiff shall show cause in writing why this case should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute. Plaintiff is advised that failure to show good cause will result in the dismissal of the case without prejudice. (jk)
