A telephone conference was held with the parties on November 10, 2021. The Court scheduled the conference in order to make certain disclosures about litigation matters relating to one or more Range Resources entities in which the Court was involved while in private practice. The parties were advised of the following activities: (1) representation of several EQT entities in a declaratory judgment lawsuit filed against Range Resources-Pine Mountain et al. in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania at No. GD 11-18592. This action sought an interpretation of certain contracts; (2) service in 2016 as an American Arbitration Association arbitrator in a claim in which Range Resources-Appalachia was the respondent and which proceeded to a decision after a hearing; (3) selection in 2018 as a neutral arbitrator in a private arbitration in which Range Resources-Appalachia was a respondent. The Court is not aware of the current status of this matter but it did not proceed to a hearing while the Court served as an arbitrator; and (4) contact by a Range Resources entity about the possibility of serving as an arbitrator but ultimately was not selected. The parties did not request further information. The Court advised the parties of its conclusion that none of these matters require recusal.
