ORDER. Plaintiff's "Notice of Service" (Doc. 6) is STRICKEN. The draft summonses, and service attempts, contain multiple deficiencies, identified in the paper Order corresponding with this docket entry. The paper Order also clarifies that Plaintiff cannot be represented by a non-lawyer, and it cautions regarding the concerns raised by non-lawyer assistance (and the roundly disfavored practice of "ghostwriting"). Plaintiff's deadline to complete and return the forms required for U.S. Marshal service has been reset for 11/22/23, and the Court does not anticipate granting further extensions. Should Plaintiff fail to timely comply with the above procedures regarding Marshal service, or to timely, independently and effectively process service on her own, the case will be dismissed for failure to prosecute. ORDER. In light of Plaintiff's in forma pauperis status, she is entitled to have the U.S. Marshal serve the Defendants. In order to effectuate such service, Plaintiff must return the proper forms to the Clerk of Court. By 10/30/2023, Plaintiff shall submit to the Clerk of Court: a U.S. Marshal Form 285 for each Defendant; a notice and waiver of summons for each Defendant; and a copy of the Complaint for each Defendant. Included with this Order are blank copies of the aforementioned forms. Plaintiff's failure to timely comply with this Order, or to independently effectuate service on her own, may result in a dismissal of this case for failure to prosecute.
