June 7, 2021 Filing 8 In his self-styled #5 Motion Seeking for Consideration, Plaintiff requests this Court to make service copies of the complaint free of charge. He pleads poverty, as well as the need to devote his resources to two other pending lawsuits. This motion is DENIED. In Tabron v. Grace, 6 F.3d 147, 159 (3d Cir. 1993), the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit recognized that "[t]here is no provision in [the in forma pauperis statute] for the payment by the government of the costs of deposition transcripts, or any other litigation expenses, and no other statue authorizes courts to commit federal monies for payment of the necessary expenses in a civil suit brought by an indigent litigant." It thus is Plaintiff's responsibility to bear those costs, and to prosecute this case. Plaintiff may submit identical handwritten copies of the complaint for service, and may seek extensions of time to the extent reasonably necessary to prepare service copies. Signed by Magistrate Judge Maureen P. Kelly on 6/7/2021. Text-only entry; no PDF document will issue. This text-only entry constitutes the Order of the Court or Notice on the matter. (dad)
