ORDER denying #9 Motion requesting Order. Plaintiff is correct that generally litigants should not wait until the last day to request for an extension of time. However, the motion for extension of time filed at Docket #6 was a routine motion for a first extension of time. First extensions are liberally granted and the attorney's representation that he needed more time to investigate the allegations of the complaint was sufficient justification. See Local Rule 6 (the Clerk of the Court can grant a first extension of time not to exceed 30-days without the intervention of the Court). Should plaintiff need a first extension of time to make a filing in the future, he will receive the same consideration the Court afforded defendant. By December 4, 2020, Plaintiff shall file a motion informing, whether he wishes that the Court appoint pro-bono counsel to represent him in this matter at no cost to him. Signed by Judge Raul M.
