February 28, 2024 Opinion or Order Filing 7 ORDER re #2 Complaint filed. Plaintiff's Complaint fails to comply with Fed. R. Civ. P. 8(a), which provides that a complaint must contain "(1) a short and plain statement of the grounds for the court's jurisdiction []; (2) a short and plain statement of the claim showing that the pleader is entitled to relief; and(3) a demand for the relief sought, which may include relief in the alternative or different types of relief." Instead, Plaintiff filed a Request for Admissions. Plaintiff's pro se status does not insulate her from complying with this Court's procedural rules. Ahmed v. Rosenblatt, 118 F.3d 886, 890 (1st Cir. 1997). By 4/1/2024, Plaintiff shall file a complaint specifying the claims asserted and the basis for subject-matter jurisdiction. Failure to comply may result in dismissal for failure to state a claim upon which relief may be granted. See 28 U.S.C. 1915(e)(2); Bell Atlantic Corp. v. Twombly, 550 U.S. 544, 555 (2007).
