ORDER denying #8 Motion to Appoint Process Server. Plaintiffs request is not justified as it is based on attempts on a single day (yesterday) to serve summons. Further attempts by Plaintiffs to serve the defendants on multiple days and at different locations are required before the appointment of the USMS becomes necessary. Appointing the USMS as process server in a case like this one should be a last resort, normally used for plaintiffs in forma pauperis, which will delay the proceedings in all likelihood due to the multiple pressing commitments of the USMS in criminal cases.
