Filing 15 ***DOCUMENT MAILED 14 Order, Set Deadlines with blank amended complaint form placed in U.S. Mail to Jack Lindsay Riddle (ssam, ) |
Filing 14 TEXT ORDER: Plaintiff's mother sent a letter (DE#11) stating that Plaintiff is detained in a special housing unit and does not have access to mailing supplies. However, in response to the Court's Proper Form Order of 09/20/2018 (DE#8), Plaintiff submitted six pages of proposed service documents. This indicates that Plaintiff is able to mail documents. The record also reflects that Plaintiff has been able to mail numerous documents in his other pending cases. The Court gave Plaintiff leave to amend his Complaint, but Plaintiff did not do so. The Court will give Plaintiff an extension of time, up to and including November 7, 2018, in which to file an Amended Complaint, if he chooses to file one. As for the request by Plaintiff's mother that his legal mail be sent to her in Florida, Plaintiff is reminded that his legal mail may not be sent to a person other than Plaintiff unless that person is an attorney admitted to practice before this Court who has entered a formal appearance in this civil action. Entered at the direction of Magistrate Judge Mary Gordon Baker on 10/17/2018. (ssam, ) |
