Date Filed Document Text
December 4, 2019 Filing 10 TEXT ORDER re #8 Rule 26(f) Report: In their Rule 26(f) Report, the Parties seek to extend the Court's standard pretrial deadlines by approximately four to five months, resulting in a discovery period of approximately eleven months. However, as the Parties represent in their Joint Rule 26 Outline of Discovery Plan, this matter is a non-complex negligence and premises liability action in which only two witnesses are currently identified. No expert testimony is anticipated. Based on the pleadings and filings currently before it, the Court cannot find that an eleven-month discovery period is appropriate. To the extent the Parties wish to amend their Joint Rule 26 Discovery Plan or file a notice with additional information regarding the requested extensions, they may do so on or before December 11, 2020. Otherwise, the current scheduling order #5 shall remain in effect and the Parties may seek by motion to extend pretrial deadlines as the need arises. Entered at the Direction of The Honorable Bruce Howe Hendricks on 12/4/2019. (vdru, )
