Plaintiffs note in their Complaint "[t]his action has been filed under pseudonym per the redaction rules due to both plaintiffs being victims of a violent crime involved in this matter." ECF No. #1 . This is insufficient under Fed. R. Civ. P. 10(a). Plaintiffs must seek and receive permission from the court to proceed anonymously. See James v. Jacobson, 6 F.3d 233, 238 (4th Cir. 1993). By August 1, 2022, Plaintiffs shall either file an amended complaint in their true names or a motion to proceed anonymously.
