| Filing 14 TEXT ORDER: Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 6(b)(1)(A) provides that a court may, for good cause, extend the time in which any act must be done without motion or notice. On March 15, 2023, Plaintiff filed a motion for a preliminary injunction (ECF No. #6 ), and a motion to expedite discovery (ECF No. #7 ) (collectively, the "Pending Motions"). Plaintiff did not file the returned executed summons until March 22, 2023, (ECF No. #11 ), making the deadline for Defendant to appear and file an Answer April 11, 2023. Given the current posture of the case, the court finds that it is impractical that Defendant's deadline to respond to the Pending Motions expires well before Defendant even need appear in this action. Accordingly, pursuant to Rule 6(b)(1)(A), the court finds there is good cause to EXTEND Defendant's deadlines to respond to the Pending Motions until fourteen (14) days after Defendant files his Answer to the Complaint.
