On March 24, 2023, this matter was removed to this Court from the Court of Common Pleas for Spartanburg County purportedly based on diversity jurisdiction. Doc. #1 at 2. Plaintiff, however, has now stipulated that the amount in controversy in this case does not exceed $75,000, and that he will at no time move to amend his complaint to seek an amount more than $75,000.00. Doc. #8 -1 at 1.] Because the amount in controversy does not exceed $75,000, diversity jurisdiction does not exist in this Court.
