Jones, Tim Burchett, Lt. Cooper, Wise, H orselby, Jones, and Unknown Defendants are DISMISSED as Defendants in this action for failure to state a claim upon which relief may be granted. However, Plaintiff's failure to protect claim against Defendant Isaac will advance. The Clerk is DIR ECTED to send Plaintiff a service packet (a blank summons and USM 285 form) for Defendant Isaac. Plaintiff is ORDERED to complete the service packet and return it to the Clerk's Office within twenty (20) days of receipt of this order. At that t ime, the summons will be signed and sealed by the Clerk and forwarded to the U.S. Marshal for service.As to Plaintiff's motions for a status update [Docs. 14, 16], these motions are GRANTED to the extent that this Order is being entered.Plaintif f is further ORDERED to immediately inform the Court and Defendant Isaac or Defendant Isaac's counsel of record of any address changes in writing. Filing 12 MEMORANDUM AND ORDER: In sum, Plaintiff's motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis [Doc. 9] is DENIED AS MOOT and his motions to appoint counsel [Docs. 2 and 10] are DENIED. Moreover, Plaintiff has thirty (30) days from th e date of entry of this Order to file an amended complaint. This amended complaint will completely supplant the previous complaint. Plaintiff is NOTIFIED that failure to timely comply with this order will result in the dismissal of this action for wa nt of prosecution and failure to comply with orders of the Court. Plaintiff's amended complaint must comply with Fed. R. Civ. P. 8 and should contain only concisely stated claims for violations of civil rights, and clearly identify the specific causes of action that he wishes to pursue as to each defendant and the facts supporting each such claim.
