| Filing 19 TEXT ORDER denying #18 Motion for Entry of Change to Defendant's Proposed Rule 16(B) Scheduling Order. On November 1, 2021, plaintiff Angel Crawford filed an objection to the defendants proposed scheduling order. Crawford states that the only disagreement with the scheduling order submitted by the defendant and signed by the court is the issue of consent to trial before the magistrate judge. In order for a magistrate judge to have jurisdiction to conduct a trial in a civil case, all parties must consent to that jurisdiction. Here, because not all parties have consented, the case will remain assigned to a district judge as the trial judge, and a magistrate judge as the referral judge. Pursuant to Administrative Order 2013-05, the magistrate judge will rule on all pretrial motions in this case either by order or report and recommendation, as appropriate. It is so ordered.
