January 25, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 4 ELECTRONIC ORDER: On January 4, 2022, the Court received correspondence from Plaintiff complaining of delays in prison mail at the Allred Unit, where Plaintiff is confined. Doc. #3 . Specifically, Plaintiff states that he mailed his 28 U.S.C. 2254 habeas petition on December 6, 2021, but that it has not reached the Court. A search of this Court's records confirms that no habeas petition has been received to date. Thus, to proceed in this civil action, Plaintiff must submit a habeas corpus petition for filing by February 23, 2022, or risk dismissal of this open case. The necessary form on which to file a 28 U.S.C. 2254 habeas petition is available in the law library of the prison unit in which Plaintiff is confined.
