ELECTRONIC Order Transferring to Another District. Plaintiff filed his case against these federal Defendants seeking relief related to the adjudication of his visa application. See, e.g., Doc. No. 1 at 1-3. In filing suit in the Northern District of Texas, Plaintiff alleges venue is proper pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1391(e) because "Plaintiff resides in Plano, Texas within this judicial district." Id. at 3. Plano is in Collin County, and Collin County is in the Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Division. 28 U.S.C. 124(c)(3). In a phone call with the Court, Plaintiff's counsel indicated that Plaintiff indeed resides in Plano, Texas, and there are no connections to the Dallas Division of the Northern District of Texas.This case was mistakenly filed in the Northern District of Texas. Plaintiff resides within the Eastern District of Texas, not within the Northern District. Accordingly, the Court, on its own motion, TRANSFERS this case to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Division. 28 U.S.C. 1404(a); see also 123(c)(3).
