June 17, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 2 ORDER: It is ORDERED that: (1) Defendant's motion requesting that his federal sentence in 1:15-cr-036 run concurrently with his state sentences is construed as a petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2241. (2) The Clerk is directed to open a new 2241 action and docket this Order and the February 19 motion in the new habeas action. (3) Defendant must, within thirty (30) days from the date of this Order: (a) file an amended petition using the 2241 form provided by the Clerk; AND (b) pay the $5.00 filing fee or file an application to proceed in forma pauperis and a certificate of his inmate trust account.
