ORDER. This Court has jurisdiction over the petition because Dunlap is incarcerated in the Northern District of Texas. However, to serve the interests of justice and judicial economy, the Court finds that the petition should be transferred to the district where Dunlap was convicted and sentenced. The Court, then, directs the Clerk to transfer this petition for writ of habeas corpus to the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division, where Tarrant County lies. ORDER. The court directs the Clerk to: (1) open a new civil action styled Jesse Dunlap v. Director, TDCJ-CID; (2) docket a copy of Dunlap's petition (Dkt. No. 1) and this order in the new civil action; and (3) mail Dunlap a standard form Section 2254 petition labeled "amended" and with the new case number. If Dunlap intends to proceed with his challenge to the prison- disciplinary action in the new civil action, he must file a complete amended petition on the form provided by the Clerk within 30 days. In addition, Dunlap recently filed a one-sentence letter that is difficult to understand. (Dkt. No. 7.)
