January 4, 2023 Opinion or Order Filing 9 ORDER. This Court has jurisdiction over the petition because Dunlap is incarcerated in the Northern District of Texas. However, to serve the interests of justice and judicial economy, the Court finds that the petition should be transferred to the district where Dunlap was convicted and sentenced. The Court, then, directs the Clerk to transfer this petition for writ of habeas corpus to the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division, where Tarrant County lies.
