SCHEDULING ORDER. Pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b) and the local rules of this Court (except as modified herein), the Court, having considered the status report submitted by the parties, finds that the following schedule should govern the disposition of this case. Unless otherwise ordered or modified by this order, all limitations and requirements of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and this Court's local rules must be observed. This case is set for trial on this Court's three-week civil trial docket beginning June 10, 2024. A pretrial conference will be held if the Court determines such a conference is necessary. The Court leaves to the parties whether to engage in mediation. Any mediation must, however, be completed by April 1, 2024. Joinder of Parties due by 7/14/2023. Amended Pleadings due by 10/20/2023. Discovery due by 3/1/2024. Dispositive Motions due by 3/15/2024. Pretrial Materials due by 5/20/2024. Pretrial Order due by 5/20/2024. ORDER REQUIRING SCHEDULING CONFERENCE AND REPORT FOR CONTENTS OF SCHEDULING ORDER. Lead counsel for each party (or a designee attorney with appropriate authority) and any unrepresented party (except for a prisoner litigant proceeding pro se) shall confer at a scheduling conference as soon as practicable, but in any event no later than April 21, 2023. The Joint Report shall be filed on or before May 5, 2023. The filing of the Joint Report is mandatory. Lead counsel for plaintiff is responsible for initiating contact with opposing counsel and all unrepresented parties for the purpose of arranging the scheduling conference and preparing the Joint Report. Lead counsel for all parties and unrepresented parties are equally responsible for ensuring timely compliance with this order.
