ORDER SEVERING CLAIMS AND OPENING NEW CASE AND NOTICE OF DEFICIENCY REGARDING COMPLAINT AND FILING FEE: On 8/3/2020, the Court docketed a notice from Plaintiff Kamrun Russell that is liberally construed as indicating an intent to prosecute his claims. See Dkt. No. 5 . The Court therefore ORDERS that his claims shall be SEVERED from this action and DIRECTS the Clerk of Court to OPEN a new action, docketing in the new action (1) this order and notice of deficiency and (2) Dkt. No. 5, designating the latter as the operative complaint. Kamrun Russell must address the following deficiency: Plaintiff did not pay the filing fee or file an application to proceed in forma pauperis together with a certified copy of his inmate trust account. Civil rights pleadings are not filed on the appropriate form. Failure to comply with this order may lead to dismissal for failure to prosecute pursuant to FRCvP 41(b).
