Filing 9 ELECTRONIC ORDER VACATING IN PART Electronic Notice of Deficiency and Order [Doc. 6] AND GRANTING motion to proceed in forma pauperis [Doc. 8]: In light of Plaintiff Candace Paige Bell's January 22, 2021 motion to proceed in forma pauperis [Doc. 8], it is ORDERED that the Court's Electronic Notice of Deficiency and Order [Doc. 6] is hereby VACATED IN PART. Plaintiff's motion to proceed in forma pauperis [Doc. 8] is GRANTED, and Plaintiff need not submit another request to proceed in forma pauperis. No process will issue pending completion of screening. Plaintiff must still register to use the Court's electronic filing system by February 23, 2021 as set forth in the Court's Electronic Notice of Deficiency and Order [Doc. 6]. Filing 6 ELECTRONIC NOTICE OF DEFICIENCY AND ORDER: Plaintiff Candace Paige Bell must address the following deficiency: The motion to proceed in forma pauperis [Doc. 5] does not contain sufficient information for the Court to determine its merits and should be resubmitted on the AO 239 form. See Misc. Ord. 15 (requiring a party desiring to proceed without prepaying fees and costs to file a motion on the AO 239 form ("Long Form")). Further, a review of the docket reveals that Plaintiff has not yet registered as a user of the Courts electronic filing system, as required. Instructions for registering are found online at https://ecf.txnd.uscourts.gov/AttorneyReg/. Therefore, Plaintiff is ORDERED to (1) file a motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis on the AO 239 form, and (2) register to use the Court's electronic filing system by February 23, 2021. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS ORDER WILL RESULT IN THE DISMISSAL OF THIS CASE FOR WANT OF PROSECUTION UNDER FEDERAL RULE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE 41(b). The AO 239 form motion to proceed in forma pauperis is available online at http://www.txnd.uscourts.gov/sites/default/files/forms/AO239_0.pdf. No process will issue except upon order of the Court. (Ordered by Magistrate Judge Renee Harris Toliver on 2/2/2021) (chmb) |
