ELECTRONIC ORDER: On November 17, 2022, the parties filed their Joint Status Report. Doc. No. 31. The Joint Status Report requested the Court stay the matter for an additional thirty (30) days, "with the Parties to file another status report by the end of that period advising the Court as to whether the Parties were successful at mediation." ELECTRONIC ORDER: Before the Court is the Stipulation of Extension of Time to Respond to Plaintiffs' First Amended Class and Collective Action Complaint (the "Stipulation") (Doc. No. 14). Per Fed. R. Civ. P. 6(b)(1), "When an act may or must be done within a specified time, the court may, for good cause, extend the time: (A) with or without motion or notice if the court acts, or if a request is made, before the original time or its extension expires; or (B) on motion made after the time has expired if the party failed to act because of excusable neglect." Here, the Court construes the parties' Stipulation as a Motion for Extension of Time to Answer or Otherwise Respond. The Court GRANTS the Motion and extends the deadline for Defendant to answer or otherwise respond to June 27, 2022. Hereafter, however, the Court will not permit parties to stipulate to extensions, especially where good cause is not shown (as is the case here).
