ELECTRONIC ORDER: Upon review, Plaintiff's Stipulated Motion to Extend Deadline to Answer or Otherwise Respond to Complaint, Doc. #6 , is DENIED AS MOOT, as Defendant is not required to file an answer until Plaintiff properly serves Defendant. Under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(c), Plaintiff is responsible for serving the summons and complaint on Defendant. FED. R. CIV. P. 4(c). Accordingly, Plaintiff is ORDERED to effect proper service of process on Defendant, or show good cause in writing for his failure to do so, by January 31, 2023. If Plaintiff fails to comply with this order, the Court may dismiss this case for want of prosecution pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(b).
