March 29, 2023 Opinion or Order Filing 8 The Court DISMISSES WITHOUT PREJUDICE this case because it cannot determine from the amended complaint whether it has jurisdiction or where proper venue lies. Within 28 days, Plaintiff may file an amended complaint that specifically alleges the citizenship of all members of Defendant Mexico Moving Company LLC. See Harvey v. Grey Wolf Drilling Co., 542 F.3d 1077, 1080 (5th Cir. 2008). Further, the Court will determine from the amended complaint whether it may exercise specific jurisdiction based on the connection between the Plaintiffs claims and the Defendants activities in Texas. See Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. v. Superior Court of California, 582 U.S. 255, 262 (2017). Finally, the Court ORDERS Plaintiff to appoint local counsel in accordance with Local Rule 83.10.
