ELECTRONIC ORDER: It has come to the Court's attention that Plaintiff's local counsel, Robert C Newark, III, may in fact not be "local counsel" as defined under this Court's Local Civil Rule 83.10. "'Local counsel' means a member of the bar of this court who resides or maintains the attorneys principal office in this district and whose residence or principal office is located within 50 miles of the courthouse in the division in which the case is pending." L. Civ. R. 83.10(a). The address listed for Mr. Newark appears to be a virtual office while his principal office is located in Oklahoma. If true, this does not satisfy Rule 83.10(a). Thus, the Court ORDERS Mr. Newark to file an affidavit by July 12, 2023, that his principal office is located in this District and is not a virtual office or that he resides principally in this District. If Mr. Newark cannot file an affidavit swearing to this, Plaintiff shall file the entry of appearance of local counsel who actually satisfies the requirements of Local Civil Rule 83.10(a) by July 26, 2023.
