'Local counsel' means a member of the bar of this court who resides or maintains the attorneys principal office in this district and whose residence or principal office is located within 50 miles of the courthouse in the division in which the case is pending." Based on a review of the docket, it appears that Plaintiff and Defendant lack local counsel. The Court ORDERS both parties to, by August 17, 2023, designate local counsel pursuant to N.D. Tex. L. Civ. R. 83.10. Failure to timely comply with this Order may result in sanctions. (Ordered by Judge Ed Kinkeade on 7/18/2023) (chmb) |

P. 7.1(a)(2) requires that each party's disclosure statement "name and identify the citizenship of every individual or entity whose citizenship is attributed to that party." Defendants Certificate of Interested Persons, Doc. No. 2, does not comply with the requirements of Rule 7.1(a). The Court ORDERS Defendant to file an amended disclosure statement that complies with Rule 7.1(a) by July 28, 2023. Plaintiff shall take note of the requirements of Rule 7.1(a) in the filing of her certificate of interested persons. (Ordered by Judge Ed Kinkeade on 7/18/2023) (chmb) |

Accordingly, by July 28, 2023, the Court ORDERS Defendant to amend its Notice of Removal to properly reflect its citizenship and the citizenship of Plaintiff. Furthermore, each party's Certificate of Interested Persons / Disclosure Statement must properly reflect the citizenship of Plaintiff and Defendant. Failure to timely comply with this Order will result in the remand of this case without further notice. (Ordered by Judge Ed Kinkeade on 7/18/2023) (chmb) |
