Filing 16
ELECTRONIC ORDER:Before the Court is the parties' Joint Motion to Extend Mediation Deadline (Doc. No. 15). The Court has carefully considered the Motion and finds good cause for an extension of the mediation deadlines and, therefore, GRANTS the Motion. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b)(4). The Court will not, however, extend the mediation deadlines for seven (7) months as requested. To afford the parties an opportunity to secure some of the discovery identified in the Motion, the Court extends the deadline to complete mediation to August 17, 2026, and the deadline to file a joint mediation report to August 25, 2026. The Court will NOT extend these deadlines against absent good cause shown AND exigent circumstances. The parties would be well-advised to obtain the necessary discovery as soon as possible, if they have not already done so. (Ordered by Judge Ed Kinkeade on 4/1/2026) (chmb)
