ELECTRONIC ORDER: Before the Court is plaintiff William Len Evan's "Motion to File Under Seal." (ECF No. 5). Evans asks the Court to allow his complaint and all connecting case documentation to be filed under seal. Evans's motion contains no argument or allegations supporting his request to seal. The Court "heavily disfavor[s] sealing information placed in the judicial record." June Med. Servs., L.L.C. v. Phillips, 22 F. 4th 512, 519-20 (5th Cir. 2022). The Court must undertake a "document-by-document, line-by-line balancing of the public's common law right of access against the interests favoring nondisclosure." Binh Hoa Le v. Exeter Fin. Corp., 990 F.3d 410, 419 (5th Cir. 2021) (internal quotation marks and citations omitted). Here, Evans has not identified any interest favoring nondisclosure, and his "Motion to File Under Seal" is DENIED. (Ordered by Magistrate Judge Rebecca Rutherford on 8/5/2026) (chmb)
