ORDER: Came on for consideration the #1 motion of movant, Gus Hopkins, for reduction of sentence pursuant to section 404 of the First Step Act of 2018. The court, having considered the motion and the record in the underlying criminal case, No. 4:09-CR-146-A, finds that the motion should be denied. The court further finds that movant's #2 motion for appointment of counsel should be denied. Movant has already received two reductions of his sentence, by orders signed February 17, 2012, and March 16, 2016, which included relief under the Fair Sentencing Act.
