ORDER: On June 17, 2021, the Court ordered Plaintiff to replead and comply with Federal pleading standards on or before July 8, 2021 #9 . Plaintiff failed to comply with this mandate, as no amended complaint was filed. The Court warned Plaintiff that failure to comply would lead to dismissal. Id. On June 21, 2021, the Court issued a separate order instructing the parties to file a joint report regarding the contents of a scheduling order on or before July 12, 2021 #12 . Plaintiff has failed to file such a joint report or otherwise apprise the Court of the status of the joint report. ORDER: A review of the record reveals that Defendants are not in compliance with Local Rule 83.10(a). Defendants filed a Notice of Appearance for Emily M. Hahn to serve as their local counsel #8 . However, Ms. Hahn does not meet the requirements of local counsel since her office address is in McKinney, Texas, which is in the Eastern District of Texas, and there has been no assertion that she resides in the Northern District of Texas and within 50 miles of the courthouse in the Fort Worth Division. Id. Defendants' deadline to obtain local counsel that complies with Local Rule 83.10(a) is on or before June 24, 2021. Accordingly, it is ORDERED that Defendants shall file the entry of appearance of local counsel satisfying the requirements of Local Rule 83.10(a) on or before June 24, 2021. Failure to comply with this Order shall result in the imposition of sanctions and/or remand of this case and without further notice. (Ordered by Judge Mark Pittman on 6/17/2021) (sre)
