October 19, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 5 ORDER: If Money intends to seek relief under 42 U.S.C. 1983 for alleged civil-rights violations, he must either (1) pay the $402 filing fee, or (2) file an application to proceed in forma pauperis, accompanied by a certified copy of his inmate trust fund account statement by November 18, 2022.1 However, if Money instead seeks to challenge his underlying state-court convictions or a previous court ruling related to his prior habeas action, he must notify the Court in writing, clarifying his intentions by November 18. He may not seek three different types of legal relief in a single lawsuit.
