July 10, 2023 Opinion or Order Filing 13 ORDER OF DISMISSAL: By order and notice of deficiency signed May 23, 2023, the Court ordered that, within thirty days, Petitioner, Laura Kristen Boyd Meador, either pay the $5.00 filing fee for her habeas petition or file a proper application to proceed in forma pauperis accompanied by a certificate of inmate trust account. Rather than file a proper application on the form provided by the Clerk, Petitioner filed a handwritten motion without providing the information necessary for the Court to determine whether she should be granted leave to proceed in forma pauperis. The Court denied the motion and ordered that, if Petitioner intended to proceed with this action, she must timely comply with the May 23 order. The order cautioned that failure to do so might result in the dismissal of her petition without further notice. To date, Petitioner has failed to comply with the Court's orders or to further communicate with the Court to indicate her intent to proceed. The petition is DISMISSED for want of prosecution.
