ORDER: Before the Court is this case's transfer from the United States District Court for the District of Arizona (ECF No. #24 ). Having reviewed the transfer order and associated briefing, this Court has serious concerns whetherdespite the breadth of Title VII's venue provisions, see 42 U.S.C. 20003-5(f)(3)this district or division is the most appropriate venue for this case. Here, this matter concerns a pilot from Arizona with a "home base" in Houston suing an Illinois corporation. See ECF No. #1 . Accordingly, the Court ORDERS expedited briefing limited to the issue whether this Court is the proper venue for this matter. The parties shall file briefing on the issue as follows: -Defendant shall file a motion to dismiss or transfer for improper venue on or before September 25, 2023, -Plaintiff shall file a response to Defendant's motion on or before October 2, 2023, -If any, Defendant shall file a reply on or before October 10,2023.
